Insurance Requirements

All PhillyCarShare applicants under the age of 21 must have their own insurance. This will be your primary coverage until you reach 21 years of age. Insurance must meet minimum Pennsylvania state requirements for automobile insurance.

¡Bienvenidos! Bienvenue! svAgawa! Welcome! If you can drive legally in the U.S., you’re eligible for PhillyCarShare. We’ll ask you to obtain your three-year driving record, printed in English, from your home country. (If you’re a domestic student, we can obtain yours directly.) Simply email or fax (215.495.1075) a copy to us, and you’re all set. Voila!
