How do I remove drivers from my account?

Please send an email to info@phillycarshare.org with the driver ID and name of any driver(s) you would like us to remove from your account. We will make sure that, as soon as we get your message, they are no longer able to drive on your account or log into the website.

I got an email asking me to approve a driver. How do I do that?

Whenever a driver applies to join your company’s account, the account’s administrator will receive an email requesting approval. No driver will be processed in the system without administrator approval. The approval email includes a link explaining how to approve the applicant. The approval process is as follows: Sign into your account on phillycarshare.org Click on My Account To the left of the screen you will see a box for My Organization. Once my business is approved, can any employee drive?

No. In order to drive, each employee must be registered with PhillyCarShare as a driver. They can apply here to become a driver only on your account or here to also open their own residential account (application and membership fees apply for residential accounts).

How do I become a driver on my employer’s account?

We have an application for that! If you would like to become a driver only on your employer’s account, use this application. If you would like to open a residential account at the same time (application and membership fees apply), use this application.

What types of business accounts are available?

Our standard business plan is available for all corporations, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies. Green Businesses (those with 10 or more drivers) get the same great plan plus $0 deductible insurance coverage and the ability to shorten reservations for free. We also have special rates for those driving for University of Pennsylvania business.

Should I open a business account or a residential one?

If you are driving for business, we have designed our Business Plans to best suit your needs. There are no application fees and no membership fees. You receive a monthly statement that neatly itemizes trips by project code and employee for seamless accountability and billing. In addition, there are special perks for businesses with 10 drivers or more.
